EDXM Global Pte Ltd is an affiliate of EDX Markets LLC (“EDX”), a fast-growing digital asset company which operates a marketplace designed to meet the needs of both crypto-native firms as well as the world’s largest financial institutions. EDX enables safer, faster, and more efficient trading and settlement of digital assets, leveraging best practices from traditional financial markets on a purpose-built crypto platform. EDX launched spot trading in the U.S. in June 2023.  In 2024 EDX is expanding its product suite into derivatives and its geographic reach to the APAC region, and beyond. 

EDXM Global Pte Ltd is seeking a full-time Market Operations Analyst. In this position you will be part of a team which ensures the daily integrity of EDX’s global marketsYou will help with real-time monitoring of the overall health of the market, be on the front lines of resolving Members trade issues, validate software changes, and run daily procedures to ensure market integrity. You will also work closely with the product and technology teams to recommend enhancements to the platform and improve the overall Member experience. This position plays a critical role in maintaining EDX as the most trusted and efficient market for digital assets.

Responsibilities and experience required:

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain policies and procedures related to the orderly operation of markets 
  • Field Member questions related to markets, trading, connectivity, onboarding, technology or products 
  • Monitor and report EDX’s global markets for abnormal or disruptive events 
  • Partner with technology team to execute against product roadmap 
  • Update and maintain key markets configurations 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues in a timely manner 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or computer science or related field 
  • 1+ years in a trade desk support role at an exchange, broker/dealer, FCM (Futures Commission Merchant) or trading firm 
  • Understanding of market and orderbook mechanics 
  • General understanding of FIX Protocol/API connectivity  
  • User acceptance testing experience, understanding changes to systems and functionality prior to deployment 
  • Ability to work with Members well under high pressure situations 
  • Operating in a 24/7/365 support environment 
  • Management of issue tracking and customer communication systems 

Skills:

  • Understanding of trading in spot and/or derivatives 
  • Experience with CRM platforms and ticketing systems  
  • Basic Python or similar scripting languages is preferred 
  • Data visualization experience is preferred 
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with cutting edge technology 
  • Ability and initiative to be able to analyze data and trade logs to resolve problems 
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Exceptional service skills
